Peter Malakoff and Gilda Madrigal began to make Ghee about six years ago while they were studying to become practitioners of Ayurveda. Within the ancient tradition of Ayurveda, ghee is used so widely and praised so highly that they just had to make it for themselves. Over time, after discovering the exquisite quality of their local Straus Butter and getting requests from friends for more of their product, they began Ancient Organics to offer ghee to the public.
