Fat Angel Bakery is a home-style bakery dedicated to providing high quality baked goods and exceptional service to Fairfax and the surrounding communities in Marin County. We have an uncompromised commitment to the quality of our product by using the highest quality, locally grown organic ingredients whenever possible. Our goal is to provide an environment that is warm, inviting and fun.

Fat Angel Bakery is located at 71 Broadway Boulevard in Fairfax, formerly home to the Fairfax Bakery and various other bakeries since 1939. Owner Shannon Stapel is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. She is a resident of Fairfax and has worked in the industry since 1985, most recently with the Bovine Bakery in Point Reyes Station.
